Come on out for the 15th Annual Wicked Bottom 5K and FIRST ANNUAL 10K on Saturday, May 4th, 2024! There is also a 1/2 mile fun run for the kids. This Cross Country run starts from the scenic grounds of Lenn Park. The course circles the northern side of the Park then crosses over to Old House Vineyards where you will pass the rows of vines while following the gravel road, then return to Lenn Park where you will follow the gravel trail that winds along the border of the Park property in view of Mountain Run Creek. King George, Virginia (United States of America) - "3H Trail Half Marathon". Don't miss out on the opportunity to enjoy the beauty of the Dahlgren Railroad Heritage Trail. Sure, it's held in August. In Virginia. But that's why it's known as the 3H Half: it's HOT, HAZY, and HUMID. All runners will receive a technical tank top or t-shirt (your choice!) and a finisher's medal. This is a beautiful, scenic out and back course on a flat, smooth rails to trails course. Cash prizes, great competition, good food, and awesome swag all make this a memorable event. Mouth of Wilson, Virginia (United States of America) - "Blue Ridge Relay". The 208 Mile Blue Ridge Relay (BRR208), which is one of the longest running relay races in the United States, takes place in the picturesque Blue Ridge and Black Mountains of Virginia and North Carolina. The BRR208 consists of maximum 12 person (4 person minimum) teams that rotate through 36 transition areas as they cover the 208-mile distance of the race. Each relay team member runs 3 legs of varying lengths and difficulty and will cover an average total distance of ~16.6 miles. The runners rotate in a set order once the race begins and will be obligated to follow this rotation until the final runner finishes in Asheville, North Carolina! The BRR208 starts at Grayson Highlands State Park, Grayson County, VA, which is near the base of Mount Rogers (5729'), the highest peak in Virginia. The course primarily follows scenic, country roads as it winds its way through North Carolina's High Country to the finish in Asheville. The course features some of the region's most spectacular scenery including the balds of Grayson Highlands State Park, the New River, the Blue Ridge Parkway, Grandfather Mountain (5964'), and Mount Mitchell (6684'), the highest peak east of the Mississippi River. www.blueridgerelay.com

This is a fun race that combines beautiful scenery along the Shenandoah River. Participants will travel on foot (running or walking) 5 or 13 miles via well marked trail at Shenandoah River State Park. The estimated time to finish is 1-4 hours. We have a great course for you to run and navigate your way around in an awesome area along the Shenandoah River and Andy Guest State Park.
